Is Vital All-In-One a different product to Vital Greens?
No, Vital All-In-One is the exact same formula as Vital Greens. The name was changed to Vital All-In-One to more accurately reflect the comprehensiveness of the formula, that it is more than just greens.
Can Vital All-In-One be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
We recommend consulting with a health care professional whilst pregnant or lactating prior to taking Vital All-In-One. It’s important that care is taken when taking ingredients that may stimulate a detoxing response while pregnant or breastfeeding and many practitioners will reduce the dose and monitor closely. It’s also important that your individual health needs are considered.
I already use your Spatone iron supplement, would it be too much if I take Vital All-In-One as well?
Vital All-In-One has no added iron, making it suitable for the whole family to take. However taking Vital All-In-One will help to improve the overall absorption of iron in your diet, and other iron supplements you choose to take. Some of the ingredients contain iron naturally, however the level of the iron’s bioavailability is minimal.
I already take Ki Immune Support and Energy Formula, can I also take Vital All-In-One?
I notice you use certified organic ingredients in Vital All-In-One. Why aren’t all of the ingredients organic?
We use certified organic ingredients in Vital All-In-One where possible. Apple powder, alfalfa powder, flaxseed powder, barley leaf powder and wheatgrass powder are all certified organic. With 78 different ingredients in Vital All-In-One it isn’t always possible to source certified organic ingredients. Some ingredients are not certifiable or not certified organic.
Can children or babies take Vital All-in-One?
For Children under 12 years please refer to our Vital Kids product which has been specifically developed for kids aged 5 – 12 years. The daily dose is one heaped teaspoon (5g) daily. It is recommended that children under 5 years of age consult with a health care professional to discuss individual health needs and a suitable dose.
What is the best time of day to take Vital All-In-One?
First thing in the morning on an empty stomach is ideal, however you may take Vital All-In-One any time of the day. Vital All-In-One is best taken before meals or at least one hour after meals to help with maximum absorption.
Is it ok to take Vital All-In-One when I am on medication?
Vital All-In-One is a food, however you should inform you healthcare professional of any significant lifestyle or dietary changes if you are taking prescription medications. Please consult your healthcare professional if on a blood thinning medication such as Warfarin.
Why do I have to keep Vital All-In-One in the fridge once I have opened it? Do I have to use it within a certain period?
Vital All-In-One contains probiotics which need to be refrigerated once opened to maintain their potency. We recommend using Vital All-In-One within 90 days of opening, to maintain the freshness and potency of the 78 ingredients.
Is Vital All-In-One gluten and wheat free?
Vital All-In-One is gluten and wheat free. It is also suitable for vegetarians and vegans, it is lactose free, corn free, dairy free and not tested on animals.
Vital All-In-One contains wheat grass, is it wheat free?
Yes Vital All-In-One is wheat free and gluten free. Wheat grass is suitable for people avoiding gluten and wheat because it is cut when it is very young, at this stage the grass does not contain any gluten. The gluten is present in the wheat kernel, after the wheat plant has grown for a long time.
Can Vital Protein be used during pregnancy and breastfeeding?
Yes, as Vital Protein is a natural pea protein isolate, with only natural flavours and sweeteners. It is truly a phyto-nutrient providing complete protein as nature intended.
Why don’t you use natural sweeteners in your products like stevia or honey?
The sweetener we use in Vital Protein is natural: Thaumatin, a protein naturally extracted from the seed shells of the West African Katemfe fruit. In past formulations of Vital Protein we have used stevia, however feedback from customers has told us the taste was too artificial, and feedback has been very positive since the introduction of Thaumatin in our range.
Can I take Vital Greens and Vital Protein together?
Yes, they are the perfect companions. Vital Protein can also be used in baking and cooking, without affecting the protein content.
Is it ok to take Vital Protein when I am on medication?
There are no known drug interactions with Vital Protein, being natural pea protein isolate with only natural flavours and sweeteners it is a phyto-nutrient providing complete protein as nature intended!
